Two New SAP Crystal Reports 2016 Functions

GetLowerBound and GetUpperBound

These functions work well with a Date Range parameter field. Firstly, you will need to define a parameter called ‘Date Range’ where Type: = Date. Ensure that ‘Allow Range Values’ is set to True.

Assign the parameter to a date or date time field from your database in the Select Expert. If your field is date/time like my example, use the ‘Equal To’ operator and type the name of the parameter field including the opening and closing curly brackets and question mark. I.e. {?Date Range}. When viewing the Select Expert after the selection criteria has been created you will notice it changes to ‘formula:’.
