SUE MITCHELL

Sales Consultant


PROFILE

Sue’s interesting career began with an Institutional Management Degree in Torquay which led to the setting up of her own successful catering business.  After selling the business, she moved into the corporate world and spent ten years with Hovis in various management positions before taking time out to have her family.  Sue is now a valuable member of the Sales and Marketing Team in her role of Sales and Sales Support.

BACKGROUND

Sue graduated in the late 1980s with a degree in Institutional Management and joined The Imperial Hotel in Torquay as the Head Receptionist. 

At the age of twenty-one she decided to set up her own catering business which she built up and finally sold off in 1993. 

Sue then worked for Ebford House Hotel, Exeter, as Chef!

Shortly afterwards, Sue joined the Hovis Group and successfully worked her way up the ranks over a period of ten years and held roles such as Training Manager (Devon), Area Manager (Birmingham) and, latterly, Area Manager (Devon and Cornwall).

Taking a brief career break in 2004 to have her family, Sue then joined DSCallards to work within the Sales and Marketing Team as Sales and Sales Support. 

Since joining DSCallards, Sue has picked up a number of new skills and has used her experience and personality to bring added value to the Team.

HOBBIES AND INTERESTS

Sue’s hobbies are mainly centred on her pride and joy – her two boys.  She leads a very active life and enjoys activities such as rock climbing, horse riding, skiing, water skiing and running.

Sue has recently entered the Commando Challenge at Royal Marines Commando Training Centre, Lympstone, where she will be completing a gruelling seven-mile endurance course for charity.  Good Luck Sue!!!
