A Bachelor of Laws (LL B), with a Masters in Marketing Management (MA) and a Member of the Chartered Institute of Marketing (MCIM), Adriane’s career spans over twenty years in various marketing and business management positions in IT, defence manufacturing, broadcasting and retail. |
BACKGROUND |
Born and bred in Plymouth, Devon, Adriane joined British Aerospace in 1988 as a Senior Business Support Officer. Adriane stayed with British Aerospace (BAe) for a number of years in the capacity of Business Analyst, Market Analyst and Events Co-ordinator. Whilst at BAe, Adriane completed her HNC in Business and Finance with full Distinction. In 1995 Adriane decided to do a full-time Law Degree (LL B) at Plymouth University so left BAe and began working for the BBC as a part-time Press Officer whilst full-time Law Student. After graduating in 1998, Adriane moved to Birmingham and took up the position of New Store Opening Coordinator for the fashion retailer – Claire’s Accessories, opening in the region of two to three new stores a week across the UK and Europe. Adriane’s next position found her back in Plymouth in 1999 working for hi-tech B2B integration software developers, SAA Consultants Ltd, until December 2006. Adriane headed up the Marketing Team whilst at SAA and also completed her Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM) Diploma. She topped up her CIM Diploma with a Masters in Marketing Management with Southampton University in 2006. After leaving SAA, Adriane enjoyed a short stint working for a travel management company as Marketing Director before joining DSCallards in July 2007. Since joining DSCallards, Adriane has enjoyed completing a variety of marketing assignments across the board and is looking forward to providing a valuable contribution to the growth of the company – which is going from strength to strength! |
HOBBIES AND INTERESTS |
Adriane adores her two dogs – Henry and Ben - and walking with them up on Dartmoor at the weekends. Adriane is also a keen scuba diver as well as liking nothing better than enjoying a cold Guinness on a Saturday afternoon – stood on the Plymouth Albion touchline, eating a hearty hog roll with lashings of apple sauce! |
