PROFILE

With great entrepreneurial spirit combined with first class business acumen, Adrian held senior technical and commercial positions within hi-tech software companies for over ten years before establishing Developer Solutions, the predecessor to DSCallards, in 2001.

BACKGROUND

Adrian graduated from the University of Gloucestershire in 1990 with a BSC in Computer Science and joined Grey Matter, providers of independent software supply, management and know-how.

During his nine years with Grey Matter, Adrian held a number of senior roles including Technical Support Manager, Purchasing Manager and Sales and Marketing Manager.  In his final year, Adrian was acting Managing Director.  

In 1999, Adrian joined Contemporary – a provider of Business Intelligence solutions.  During his two years at Contemporary, Adrian achieved his objective and turned the Technical Services Division around from making a loss to a £1 million profit.

This success inspired Adrian and Ray Kemp, Technical Director, to pursue a management buyout in 2001 and as a result Developer Solutions was born.

Developer Solutions went from strength to strength - so much so, that in 2007 it acquired Callards plc, a software development company, writing sophisticated software applications for major banks and blue chip organisations.

The two companies merged to become DSCallards.

HOBBIES AND INTERESTS

Adrian is an avid Wolverhampton Wanderers supporter and has a number of hobbies that include cycling, photography, reading and travelling.
